FIXTURES

Wolverhampton races is the UK's busiest racetrack, hosting some 90+ fixtures, all year round.

Principal Races

The Lincoln Trial in March, a fortnight before the big Doncaster handicap, is traditionally a major yardstick for Flat trainers to get their contenders in order, prior to the opening of the Turf Flat season. The 7f Lady Wulfruna Stakes, run on the same card, often emerges as an informative event.

USEFUL INFORMATION

A Premier Enclosure badge gives access to all public areas, including the Premier bar and Restaurant in the Wulfrun Suite. The dress code for the Premier enclosure and all restaurants is smart casual. A Grandstand Enclosure badge allows access to the Grandstand and most ground floor areas, except the Ringside Restaurant, giving various bars and eating areas to choose from. The Grandstand has a great view of the winning post. Casual wear is acceptable. All enclosures have betting facilities. The bookmakers can be found outside in front of the track. If the weather is inclement, the "Boards" bookmakers may be found inside the concourse.

BARS AND FOOD

The Parade Bar is situated within the adjoining Holiday Inn hotel. The bar is open to the public during licensing hours but only to hotel guests outside standard licensing hours. The Weigh Inn Bar is located on the ground floor between the Parade Ring and trackside. It has a selection of fast food, with views into the Weighing Room and easy access to betting facilities. The Chasers Bar is located next to the Ringside Restaurant on the ground floor, with easy access to the trackside and bookmakers. This incorporates a fast food outlet, open on Saturday race nights and Boxing Day. The Paddock Grill comprises a snack bar situated within the concourse on the ground floor, close to trackside and betting facilities.
