The A12 and A143 are also appropriate routes to Yarmouth races. By Train: Yarmouth station, on the Norwich line, is about a mile from the racecourse. The walk is flat and easy, but taxis are available at the station and there is a regular bus service to Yarmouth races. COURSE DETAILS FOR YARMOUTH RACES Yarmouth racecourse has the appearance of a flattened oval, some 1m 5f in circumference. There is a straight mile course. CATERING FACILITIES Premier Enclosure The Premier (Members') Enclosure offers the Trafalgar Restaurant, with first-class cuisine in a luxurious environment. Advance booking is strongly recommended. Opened in 2007, the "Hoops" Champagne bar offers fine drinking and dining in a relaxed environment. Light meals are offered throughout the day. The lively Victory Bar, on the First Floor of the Lord Nelson Grandstand, serves draught and bottled lager and a wide selection of wines and spirits. Grandstand & Paddock The Vice Admiral Bar, an atmospheric and lively betting hall on the Ground Floor of the Grandstand offers an excellent range of drinks and snacks for racegoers, with betting facilities close to hand. A large plasma screen ensures racing action won't be missed. The Buttery Bar, adjacent to the weighing room, overlooks the lawns behind the central grandstand, while offering similar facilities to the Vice Admiral Bar. HOSPITALITY Yarmouth races is a market leader in corporate entertainment, offering enjoyable, value for money hospitality. The Lord Nelson Grandstand has nine hospitality suites, eight of which have private balconies and boast superb views over the race track and out to sea, whilst the large suite at the rear of the stand has great views out over the lawns. The Centre Course Suites offer a very different racing experience. The two large marquees and four suites provide a patio area or lawned area with furniture and the chance to get right up to the action.
